Question 1

Is my resume uploaded anywhere?

Accepted Answer

No. Parichay has no server that receives your resume. It is built and printed in your browser. A copy is kept in your browser's storage on this device so it is there when you come back.

Question 2

How do I get a PDF?

Accepted Answer

Press "Save as PDF", then choose "Save as PDF" as the printer in the window that opens. On a phone, use Share or Save as PDF. The text in the PDF stays selectable, so it can be copied and searched.

Question 3

Is it really free? Is there a watermark?

Accepted Answer

It is free, with no ads, no watermark and no sign-up.

Question 4

Will I lose my resume if I clear my browser?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The copy lives in your browser, so clearing site data or using another device removes it. Press "Download backup" to keep a file, and "Load backup" to bring it back.

Question 5

Does it work on a phone?

Accepted Answer

Yes. On a small screen, switch between the Edit and Preview tabs. How PDF saving looks depends on your phone and browser, so open the PDF and check it before you send it.

Question 6

Can I add a photo?

Accepted Answer

Not yet. Photos are not supported.
